Hey, it's Doctor Who stuff!
Earlier this week, we finally...I mean FINALLY! ...got an air date for the premiere of Series 11.
Yep, October 7th which is on a Sunday. The TARDIS is travelling from Saturday to Sunday for its new season with a new showrunner with a new Doctor.
Friday saw the release of a promotional clip with Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor breaking the glass ceiling... literally.

Other Doctor Who news...
BBC America will be running a 13 day marathon of modern era Doctor Who leading up the the Series 11 premier on October 7th. This will include the 9th Doctor season which I think (I could be wrong) has never been run on BBC America since they took over the American rights to the franchise in 2009. I know all I've ever seen on BBCA are Tennant, Smith and Capaldi. It would be good to see Chris Eccleston's Doctor get some overdue attention.
As I understand it, the marathon will not be in order but the various Doctors will be mixed in at different points through the marathon. This may cause some confusion but it does keep BBCA from losing viewers for a whole day or two because they really can't stand <insert name here>.
So the countdown is on to October 7th!
The new Doctor awaits and I'm really looking forward to her debut.
