Li'l Donnie Learns A Lesson

In her vote to acquit Donald Trump on the articles of impeachment against him, Sen. Susan Collins explained her vote that Donald Trump has learned his lesson about abusing the power of his office.

Donald Trump has learned his lesson about abusing the power of his office. The lesson he’s learned is that he can get away with it.

Lt. Cols. Alexander and Yevgeny Vindman were dismissed from the National Security Council at Donald Trump’s direction after his acquittal in the US Senate of impeachment charges.

Trump’s retaliation against Alexander Vindman was expected. His testimony before the House of Representatives was particularly damning to Trump’s narrative of innocence.

What the hell Yevgeny Vindman, Alex’s twin brother, did to get fired from the NSC is anybody’s guess.

I’m guessing just being Alex Vindman’s brother was enough for Li’l Donnie.

And Trump has suggested the Pentagon should investigate Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman for... reasons.

Meanwhile, Trump’s lacky at the Department of Justice, Bill Barr, has intervened in the Roger Stone case. Trump tweeted he doesn’t know what Stone did to deserve 9 years in prison.

For Bill Barr, Trump’s tweet is his command and he goes to work to reduce Stone’s sentence. The prosecutors for the DOJ in Stone’s trial all quit the DOJ in disgust.

Meanwhile, since it worked so well with Joe Biden, Li’l Donnie is linking Mitt Romney to Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company that had Joe’ son Hunter on the board of directors.

It seems that some dude who worked on Mitt Romney's campaign for President also logged some time on the Burisma Board of Directors.

Am I the only person in the world not to not be on the Burisma Board of Directors?

Meanwhile, at his most recent rally, Trump egged on his crown is a “lock her up” chant directed at Nancy Pelosi. For what crime, exactly, is not clear but an arena full of Trump supporting morons chanted their support for Nancy Pelosi to go to prison.

Yep, Li’l Donnie has learned his lesson bout abusing the power of his office.

He's learned he can get away with it.

And we’re all going to pay for it.
