Republicans in the Tennessee state legislature voted to expel 2 of the three Democrats who vocally supported the throng of protesters at the state capital who were demanding action on gun violence. The 2 who were expelled were black.  The 1 who was not was white.  

• Pro-gun NRA ass kissing? Check!
• Some good old fashion racism? Check! 
• Solidifying the hold of Republicans over the Tennessee State House of Representatives? Check!

Donald Trump hauled his sorry fat treasonous lying ass to New York to be arraigned on 34 felony charges for falsifying financial records.  In the court room, Trump was quiet and kept himself to such small snippets of dialogue like "not guilty", "yes, sir" and "no sir".  

Later that night, he was back at Mar A Lago where he made a speech insulting the judge. Said nothing to the judge's face when he had the fucking chance but had plenty to say once he scampered back to Florida like the scared coward he is. 

MSNBC did not cut away to show that speech. As Rachel Maddow put it, "He telling his usual lies and grievances. If he says anything actually newsworthy, we'll let you know."  But NBC did cut away to cover this motherfucker, cutting off the last 7 minutes of a new episode of Night Court. 

Another god damn reason to hate this son of a bitch.

Meanwhile, in the wake of Donald Trump being charged with 34 felonies by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Rep. Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, is launching an investigation of the district attorney.  

Bragg described Jordan's efforts as an “attempt to undermine an active investigation and ongoing New York criminal case. Repeated efforts to weaken state and local law enforcement actions are an abuse of power and will not deter us from our duty to uphold the law.” 

Historically, Republicans have been all about the Federal government staying out of state government's shit. What we have here is a Republican in the Federal government getting all up in New York's state governments shit. All because it hurts Li'l Donnie's feelings.

Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk ruled the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s 2000 approval of abortion pills was unlawful.

Throughout the decision, Kacsmaryk used anti-choice rhetoric including terms like “unborn child,” “chemical abortion” and “abortionist” to describe medication abortion, a safe and effective regimen used for nearly 60% of all abortion and miscarriage care in the U.S.

Kacsmaryk is a far-right Donald Trump appointee and Christian activist. It's not clear what point of law served as the basis for his decision but seems to rely on anecdotal examples cited in anti-abortion propaganda.

The legal action that brought this to Kacsmaryk's bench was instigated by Alliance Defending Freedom who have been busy little beavers pursuing various legal attacks on abortion rights as well as gay rights.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has accepted accepted gifts of luxury trips Harlan Crow, a GOP supporting Texas billionaire.  

Thomas has done this for over two decades without reporting them, in violation of a law requiring judges, members of Congress, and other federal officials to report most gifts, including private jet flights.  

Thomas' retort to this revelation is  he was “advised by colleagues in the judiciary that this sort of personal hospitality from close personal friends was not something that needed to be reported."   

Can this story get worse? Maybe! 

Is Harlan Crow a NAZI?!?  His million dollar estate in Dallas contains Adolf Hitler artifacts such as two paintings by Hitler and a signed copy of his book “Mein Kampf,” along with a stockpile of other Nazi mementos such as a swastika medallion.

This fucker might be a Nazi!

The war between Disney and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is escalating as  Disney managed to keep a large degree of power despite a new law passed in February that created a new board controlled by the governor that would oversee the Disney properties.   

This whole shit blew up last year when  last year when Florida passed  “ the parental rights in education bill,” also known as the “don’t say gay”. Disney executives sharply criticized the bill and DeSantis began plotting revenge against Disney.  

The target of that revenge is the Reedy Creek Improvement District, the entity that has allowed Disney to operate its own government-like functions for more than 50 years on thousands of acres near Orlando. DeSantis pushed through legislation to allow him to appoint his own people to take over the Reedy Creek board.   

All of this because Disney voiced an opinion that DeSantis did not care for.   

Besides his pissing match with Disney, DeSantis is on a tear to ban books in Florida that dare touch on racism, same sex couples or anything he deems "woke". 

AND DeSantis signed a law that allows Florida residents to own guns without a permit.  

And that is just some of the shit Republicans have been up to.
