Why Solve Problems With Your Fists When Other Body Parts Will Do?

Martin Gray, one of my Twitter buddies, posted this page from an old Batgirl story drawn by the late great Gil Kane.

Gil's work was known for a fluidity of motion and dynamic action has reflected in this page.

But I have say that last panel...

Yes, I know Batgirl is employing some flying flip and kick to dispose of those two thugs but doesn't it kind of look like...

Batgirl is striking them with her butt?

Well, it could be worse.

Check out this cover from Neal Adams.

From the line up of the Creeper's leap towards the Batman below, well it almost looks like the Creeper is going to punch Batman in the face with his...well...

His crotch.

Yes, the Creeper is going to punch Batman in the face with this crotch.

Sorry, but as you can see, it does line up.

To make this extra icky for Batman, those green briefs the Creeper is wearing weren't green when he first put them on.

The lesson here today, kids, is that you don't have to rely on your fists to solve problems. I'm not saying you can't use violence. Just consider the use of other body parts.

Like butts and crotches.
