F.Y.I. But Not For What You Think

Let's start with a joke.

"I got in trouble with human resources for using F.Y.I. at work.  Not 'For Your Information' but 'Fuck You, Idiot!."

So now... Donald Trump.

Hey, Trump! F.Y.I.

So this mother fucking lying, cheating, sexually assaulting, treasonous, insurrectionist con artist asshole moron landed in Greensboro NC on March 2nd for one of his incoherent, rambling circle jerk rallies.

My wife Andrea wondered if her brother would attend.

Yep, she has a Trump supporter in the family.

I said I doubted it.

There are three types of people who support Trump.

One group are the mouth breathing ignorant lumps who show up in the MAGA hats and wildly applaud any damn thing Trump says even it does not make any sense.

The second group are the rich who want to be richer. They see themselves as more sophisticated than the bumpkins who show up at the rallies and would not want to associate with such low class people. To them, Trump is a useful idiot who will rubber stamp any tax cut and any regulation that will put one more dollar in their already overstuffed bank accounts.  They tolerate the existence of the MAGA cult because they too are useful idiots but actually spend time with them? Ewww! No!

Then there is the 3rd group of Trump supporters, the people who are not paying attention.

In a recent survey by The New York Times and Siena College, Trump has the support of 97% of people who say they voted for him in the 2020 election while 10% of the 2020 Biden voters said they would now vote for Trump.

What?

I mean, hold on a moment.

Let me rephrase.

What the unholy fuck?!?!

I think those people see Joe Biden walking slowly and talking softly at age 81 and then they look at Donald Trump whose hulking fat ass hides the fact that he walks slowly too but yells and bellows at age 77 and I guess they think Li'l Donnie's more up for the job or something?

This group is just not paying attention.

Meanwhile this fucker drew what was described as "a festive atmosphere surrounding the Greensboro Coliseum Complex ahead of Trump’s rally. Supporters stood in a line that snaked through a web of metal barricades and extended hundreds of yards from the arena. License plates from North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee filled the parking lot, where Trump flags flew alongside U.S. and Confederate flags on many vehicles."

Trump spent some time bashing Biden as the true enemy of democracy, bitching about a bad border situation that Trump helped make worse when he told Republicans to kill the border deal they worked out in Congress because he wants to run on the issue of how bad the border is.  He also bitched about his many legal problems which are of course not his fault but politically motivated hit jobs.

(For more on Trump's visit to Greensboro, click here.)

Which may not mean a damn anyway.  The Supreme Court decided after all that it would hear Trump's appeal that he has absolute immunity from all charges against him. But they won't have that hearing until April which delays all the cases against him which is what Trump wants.

Most legal scholars agree that the Supreme Court does not have any legal or constitutional basis to determine that Trump has absolute immunity and even if they wind up agreeing with every single damn Federal court before them that Trump does not have the immunity he claims, the damage is done and the cases are delayed and if Trump wins the White House, he can pull the plug on all of them.

By the way (just to put even more terror in your heart and whatever is left of your soul), if current polling holds up, Trump will score an electoral college win over Biden in November 2024 and again without needing to score a popular vote win.

North Carolina's primary is on Tuesday. Andrea and I early voted a week ago in the Democratic primary. (I wanted to be sure to support Tik Tok sensation Rep. Jeff Jackson who is running for state attorney general.) In the lead up to the primary, local TV has been inundated by Republican candidates falling all over themselves to prove their bonafides as being Trump approved. Seriously, these "people" are posing with a smiling Trump (who has NO clue who they are or what they stand for but they said they like Trump so there).  I have not seen any ads from any Republicans who have made the case that maybe, just maybe, it might be a good idea to run (not walk) in the opposite direction from this mother fucking lying, cheating, sexually assaulting, treasonous, insurrectionist con artist asshole moron.

All the ads are vote for me: I have been endorsed by the mother fucking lying, cheating, sexually assaulting, treasonous, insurrectionist con artist asshole moron as if it is a good thing.

Speaking of which: Mark Robinson who is running to be the Republican nominee for North Carolina's governor got his precious endorsement at Trump's Greensboro circle jerk rally. Robinson is black but is notorious for racist rhetoric. And his homophobic, anti-trans, Islamophobic, misogynist, just plain bat shit crazy rhetoric.

So we can expect some new ads from Robinson's campaign bragging about that before Tuesday.

So...

Greensboro's airport is not far from the Fortress of Ineptitude. I happened to be outside when saw a jet airliner ascending into the sky, right after Trump's rally was concluded. It may have been Trump's plane. Maybe not.

But just in case it was...

Standing alone in the darkness, I extended a middle finger and gave him an F.Y.I.

"Fuck you, idiot!"
