It might be cold outside right now but winter isn't officially here for three more days, Tuesday, December 21.
In anticipation of winter's arrival, today's Songs For Saturday spotlights songs for winter and the commiserate holidays associated with winter for what I call
A Winter Music Round Robin!
Starting off today is a hauntingly beautiful ( and kind of sad) song called "Winter Song" as performed by Sara Bareilles & Ingrid Michaelson.
Now Ingrid Michaelson passes the baton to another musical partner as she pairs up with America's sweetheart Zooey Deschanel for a more upbeat tune of the holiday season "Merry Christmas, Happy New Year".
Our winter time round robin moves on as Zooey Deschanel teams up with Joseph Gordon-Levitt | for "What Are You Doing New Years Eve?"
