Trapped in a world he was not designed to cope with, Dave-El (the true Kryptonian name of alleged Earth creature David Long) writes about comics, Doctor Who, Star Trek, politics, the absurdity of the human condition and whatever other nonsense that befuddles his unbalanced mind.
This is.... I'M SO GLAD MY SUFFERING AMUSES YOU!

Songs For Saturday: As Heard On TV II: Now That's What I Call Advertising with Josef Salvat, Nat King Cole and the Rolling Stones
Today I present "As Heard On TV II: Now That's What I Call Advertising!"
First up is a song from the Lancome fragrance ad featuring Julia Roberts. Here is Josef Salvat with "Diamonds".
Rhianna had a hit of her own with this song which can be found here.
Next up is an oldie but a goodie getting a lot of exposure from an Amazon Prime commercial. This is Nat King Cole with "Let's Face the Music and Dance".
Last up is a song that appears in an Adobe Photoshop TV spot, the Rolling Stones with "She's Like A Rainbow".
This is the most Beatlesque song in the Rolling Stones discography.
I like to imagine Mick Jagger trying to explain this song to Keith Richards.
Mick: "You see, Keith, she combs her hair!"
Keith (mumbling): "I don't get it."
Mick: "She comes in colors and combs her hair!"
Keith: "Lots of women comb their hair, Mick."
Anyway, that is that for today's Songs For Saturday.
Until next time, remember to be good to one another and to always keep the music alive.
