Songs For Saturday: A Birthday Celebration (Or Humiliation?)

Today is not just on Saturday but it's also December 11th.

Which it means it's the birthday of my daughter Randie.

It's a milestone as Randie is now legally allowed to drink.

Since Randie is all grown up now, I dedicate today's Songs For Saturday to the purpose that all parents have for their children.

To embarrass them with the relics of their youth.

To any of Randie's coterie of friends today who think Randie is a cool cutting edge gay icon, I will remind you that my daughter used to really like Taylor Swift.

Here is the Taylor's version of "Love Story".

A youthful fondness for Taylor Swift is not embarrassing enough?

Well, challenge accepted!

BWA-HA-HA-HA!

Randie used to imagine being a future Mrs. Justin Bieber.

Here is Li'l Justin with the one damn song from that era that I could tolerate to put on this blog. Joined by Nicki Minaj, here is Justin Bieber with "Beauty And A Beat".

Hey, think Randie is just the coolest person alive with their Avant Garde taste in podcasts?

Randie used to watch live action Nickelodeon shows like Drake & Josh, iCarly, Big Time Rush and Victorious!

BWA-HA-HA-HA!

Here is Victoria Justice and the cast of Victorious with "All I Want Is Everything".

OK, that's enough humiliation for one day!

Happy birthday, Randie!

Never forget that I am proud of you, I love you bunches and to always keep the music alive.

All right! ONE MORE SONG!

From SpongeBob SquarePants, it's Tiny Tim with "Livin In The Sunlight , Lovin In The Moonlight".

Be good to one another, y'all!
