Will Muller was a rising sixth grader at St. John LaLande Catholic School in Blue Springs, KS, an 11 year old who was by all accounts liked by everybody and a straight A student, never getting into trouble.
Will Muller needs to go and has been “disenrolled”.
Why did Will Muller need to go?
Apparently, it's because his parents, Paul and Hollee Muller, have “stated both verbally and in writing you do not agree with nor do you support the teachings of the Catholic Church."
So what kind of sick twisted bastards are Paul and Hollee Muller?
The Mullers are mainstays of the parish. Paul himself went to school there as a child along with his 15 siblings.
Hollee was vice president of the school’s advisory board.
Paul and Hollee volunteer as basketball and track coaches at the school, running a Tuesday night “open gym” for the kids.
One of the other parents at St.Johns said the Mullers “volunteer to do a lot of things other parents won’t."
Exactly what Catholic values do the Mullers not share?
Well it all seems to stem from this guy: Father Sean McCaffery became pastor of the parish a year ago.
Father McCaffery immediately went to working pulling books from the school library, including one about a polar bear with two mommies and all of Rick Riordan’s work, some of which features characters who are gay, bisexual, lesbian and trans.
The priest also banned the Duolingo language app because it translates the words “gay” and “lesbian.”
CNN 10, a news source for use in the classroom,” was pulled because McCaffery said "we don’t need the media teaching our kids", especially a media resource with a parent company that is "too liberal.”
Hollee Muller in her position on the school’s advisory board dared to voice an opinion contrary to these actions taken by Father Sean McCaffery.
So it would seem the Catholic value the Mullers do not share is "when the priest wants to do something, shut the fuck up and let him do it."
And this is why all around likeable straight A good kid Will Muller needs to go.
Below is a photo of the school and Father Sean McCaffery.
Why is it when pastors smile, there is this smug, self satisfied, self righteous air about it? Instead of eliciting a feeling of joy, their smiles seem like a judgement.
