Last week was the 31st wedding anniversary for Andrea and I as I recounted in this post here.
This past weekend, we went out for our celebratory anniversary dinner.
It was a quaint little French bistro in a quiet out of the way location overlooking a lake with moonlight dappling on the water.
Sitting at a table with candlelight and soft music in the air, we gently laughed and reminisced about our years together in a romantic--
NO! WE WENT TO OLIVE GARDEN AND IT WAS THIS LOUD!
OK, anyone reading this blog for any length of time knows we ALWAYS go to Olive Garden for special occasions.
Andrea loves Olive Garden for some reason.
And I do not have a better idea. French bistro? As if I had an actual clue where to find one and could I afford it if I did.
Our wait person presented us with a complimentary dessert, a pumpkin cheesecake drizzled with caramel.
So at least we had that going for us.
