Whazzup At the the Fortress of Ineptitude

Hi there!

Well, it’s been a busy and rather stressful weekend at the Fortress of Ineptitude. Our collective efforts to get the Fortress in something resembling normal living conditions in anticipation of our guest arriving this evening have been extraordinarily intense.

Our home is far from in perfect condition but perfection was never our goal. Just making the damn place look livable was good enough. The strength, energy and perseverance it took to get the Fortress of Ineptitude to that point was very draining.

Ultimately, it was a task of cleaning and reorganizing that was long overdue and having Randie’s girlfriend come for a visit was just the catalyst we needed to get the job done.

For all our work on the Fortress, we did find time to finish Stranger Things 3 and there will be a post forthcoming on that.

We also snuck out of the Fortress of Ineptitude for a brief cinematic respite to take in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Thoughts on that will be expressed in blog form at some forthcoming but undetermined date.

And at some point, I do have some thoughts on the recent news about MAD Magazine.

A big ol’ “HOO-RAY!” to USA women’s soccer team for winning the World Cup! Megan Rapinoe is amaze-balls! The entire team is amaze-balls!!

Blog business: I’ve decided to back off try to post every day. I’m posting whenever I can find the time or my groove.

One post I seemed to have hit a groove on was last week’s post on the Democratic candidates for President. Hits on the post have exceeded 400% over the norm for most posts. I haven’t seem that kind of success with a blog post since my tributes to Kimberly Guilfoyle.

So in the next day or so, look for posts on the new season of Stranger Things and the new Spidey movie.

Until next time, remember to be good to one another.
