Your Friday Video Link: Cooking With B Dylan Hollis

I discovered B. Dylan Hollis on Tik Tok where he has 10 million followers who enjoy his manic super goofy  baking using unusual vintage American recipes.

Your Friday Video Link #1 is one of those short videos where Hollis presents us with the wonder that is Cheat Lemon Pie.

Hollis released a cookbook, Baking Yesteryear, which  was #1 on The New York Times Best Sellers list last summer.

Hollis has demonstrated his strange vintage recipes on talk shows like The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Hollis is also on You Tube where he has 2 million followers and presents longer form videos of his quirky recipes.  He's a bit less manic in presentation on these videos but they're still quite enjoyable.

Your Friday Video Link #2 is a recipe from 1912 for Chocolate Potato Cake.  The book where Hollis finds this recipe declares   "It's digestible!"

A  ringing endorsement if I ever heard one!

Finally Your Friday Video Link #3 is a recipe from 1918 for Snickedoodles.

No, Snickerdoodles are NOT dogs.
