North Carolina's Sen. Tom Tillis refused to vote for Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill citing concerns about Medicaid and Medicare cuts that would jeopardize rural hospitals in North Carolina.
Trump was all "fuck you" and threatened to run more MAGA friendly opponents against Tillis in 2026 if he didn't vote for this bill.
Tillis gave a big ol' "fuck you" to Li'l Donnie by declaring he would not seek re-election to the Senate.
The bill provides big tax cuts to billionaires with a big ol' "fuck you" to Americans in need, hacking and slashing at the safety net for the nation's poor, cutting vital food and medical assistance programs.
This bill is an excessive and egregious assault on the American people across 49 states.
49? Aren't there 50 states!

The bill passed with 50 votes and tie breaker from J D Vance.
The 50th vote came from Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska who had voiced the same objections to the bill as Sen. Tillis.
Until she negotiated a carve out for Alaska.
All the bad shit that's going hit North Carolina and all the other states?
Murkowski negotiated exceptions for Alaska.
Which is great for her constituents.
