No Peace in Afghanistan or What the Fuck Has Trump Done Now?

Tracking the numerous debacles of Donald Trump and his attendant sniveling sycophants frequently leads to the question, "What the fuck has Trump done now?"

When I say "frequently", one could almost ask on a hourly schedule, "What the fuck has Trump done now?"

The most recent debacle centers around efforts to pull U.S. troops out of Afghanistan and ending war operations there after nearly 2 decades. Apparently, Trump had a big plan to bring Taliban leaders to Camp David along with President Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan.

As to the specifics to how that arrangement ever became a thing and how it no longer is a thing, I'm gonna let the New York Times do the heavy lifting. You can read more about it here.

But among the many things wrong with whatever Trump thought he was up to, consider this particular passage fom the Times piece:

"The leaders of a rugged militant organization deemed terrorists by the United States would be hosted in the mountain getaway used for presidents, prime ministers and kings just three days before the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks that led to the Afghan war."

Donald Trump, Mister Tough Guy On Terrorism, was going to sit down with avowed terrorists in a place of significant history and importance to the American presidency within days of the anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on American soil.

Really?!?!?

Does Li'l Donnie not have even so much as one single fucking goddamn clue?!?!?

Complex negotiations that had been going on for months that were within days of coming to some fruition were undone by Trump's narcissistic needs for the spotlight, to pull off some kind of reality TV dramatic reveal of a deal that would bring peace to Afghanistan and finally bring our fighting men and women out of harm's way.

"What the fuck has Trump done now?"

The only thing this small minded motherfucker knows how to do: make things worse.
