The Longest Day

My complaint about Daylight Savings Time that I have been expressing for DECADES now is "It takes all night to get dark!"

Today that is so true.

Today, Saturday June 21st is the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. 

The sun will not set until around midnight or something!

OK, fine! Sunset for today will be at 8:39 PM but still...

That's too damn late to not be dark yet!   

Had to get this bitch session about the day being too long off my chest.

The glaring error is that the Summer Solstice was NOT June 21st but June 20th.

Thanks to my son Dean for pointing that out and a quick check of Google to confirm he wasn't fucking around.

Damn!
