It's been a hell of a year here in North Carolina. Like the rest of the United States, we've been slammed by the COVID 19 pandemic outbreak.
A hurricane blew threw the state last week.
Why not throw in an earthquake.
Earthquake? Bring it on, bitch!
Bring.
It.
ON!
Sunday morning, August 9th, 8:00 AM.
Sparta NC is a small town at the northwest part of the border with Virginia. This town was epicenter of an earthquake registering 5.1 on the Richter scale. It was the largest in North Carolina in over 100 years.
I did not feel it here in Greensboro but others has far south as Georgia did feel the earthquake.
The shakes and rattles from the Sunday quake did do some damage in and around the Sparta area.
Earhquakes?
Do I dare ask what's next.
I best not. What ever damn thing I can anticipate for North Carolina will damn well like happen. It might be best to not tempt fate like that.
