Today is Friday and that means an installment of that news satire sensation of the internet, bROkEN nEWs.
I realized months ago that this Friday would come after the November 4th elections and I thought what better time to do a a tribute to a frequent and unwilling guest to bROkEN nEWs, the Republican Senator from Kentucky, Mitch McConnell. I figured either Mitch would be defeated in his re-election bid and this would be a moment to offer a fond farewell to our favorite Senator from the Bluegrass State. Or he would win his race and we would have 6 more years of
So after several weeks of planning...to eventually think about the possibility of maybe doing something about that, I realized on Tuesday that, "Oh shit! Today's election day!"* So I then hastily assembled this celebration of Sen. McConnell's re-election victory.
*Apparently millions of Democrats high on legal weed were even slower to react given the vote totals.
Boy, what a win! We not only get Mitch back but with the GOP in control of the Senate, our buddy is going to be Senate Speaker. And you know what that means? Even MORE chances to poke fun at our political pal, Mitchy Mick.
