Doctor Who: The Doctor Is A Comin'

Hey kid! It's  DOCTOR WHO time!

Oh my giddy aunt! We've got ourselves a NEW trailer! With honest to goodness footage of the Doctor and friends doing stuff! And saying stuff!! This trailer is filled with... STUFF!!

OK, your mileage may vary but I'm liking what I'm seeing! My new Doctor jitters are still a thing but I think we've got something good going on here!

Sweeeeet!!!!!!!!!

Here's some other things Whovian ponder.

Last year when we were wondering if the new Doctor was going to be a woman, it was apparently a foregone conclsion from Day 1 of the Chris Chibnall era.

“That’s what Chris wanted, that was part of his conditions of doing the job,” executive producer Matt Strevens told Digital Spy. "In our gut it was about time and it felt like the right decision, and the character is not gender-specific, in any way really. If ever there was a character that was never defined by gender, it’s the Doctor. The Doctor is gender fluid in that sense.”

Chibnall wouldn't have signed on if there wasn't agreement that it was time for a female time lord to be in charge.
Chibnall described the decision to make the 13th Doctor a woman as “straightforward” and “not that controversial.”

Well, we're about 2 weeks away from seeing how well this is going to work. I'm hoping the answer is "very well" and I think things are looking good for that to be very true.

Ooh! We have episode info!

Episode Two
The Ghost Monument

Still reeling from their first encounter, can the Doctor and her new friends stay alive long enough, in a hostile alien environment , to solve the mystery of Desolation? And just who are Angstrom and Epzo?

You know what? I wanna watch the trailer AGAIN!!!

Coming up next on the ol' blog is another Doctor Who post. With all the new stuff that's a coming, there's one thing that's not changing.

WARNING: this post may start off kind of normal but it does veer off to one of the strangest things ever posted to this blog.

This post will be going live later today around approx 11 AM Eastern Time.

For now, it's time to say....

Bye-bye!

See ya again later this morning.
