A 17-year-old student in a trench coat and armed with a gun barged inside a classroom and fired several shots, witnesses at Santa Fe (TX) High School. As I post this, the report from the sheriff's office is that the total fatalities "could be anywhere between eight to 10, the majority being students."
Meanwhile, a man wearing a Make America Great Again cap and toting a flag and a pistol by his side appeared outside the school. He was immediately stopped by police.
Here's what one witness had to say about that development.
"This idiot is walking down the street with a pistol by his side. I believe in the Second Amendment. But this is a crime scene. This is a slap in the face."
I find it somewhat comforting that a person in Texas, a supporter of the 2nd amendment, looked at this guy with his flag, gun and hat and the descriptive word he comes up with is "idiot".
One of the students who survived the Feb. 14 massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland offered some advice on Twitter based on his experience.
