The Storm This Time

The storm this time... is Hurricane Michael.

Michael is battered the Florida panhandle and slammed right up the heart of Georgia with South AND North Carolina in it's sites where a lot of people are still wringing out the water from Hurricane Florence.

Michael is now a Tropical Storm but it's capacity for damage is still a threat from torrential rains, flooding, high winds and even tornadoes.

Around the ol' Fortress of Ineptitude, the weather has been unseasonably warm and muggy up through the first 10 days of October. Well, maybe this latest hurricane will finally cool things off.

Boy, this climate change hoax by the Chinese is getting out of hand. All these super storms and the hot weather caused by all this Chinese hoaxing is getting a bit much to put up with.

Hey, China! Knock it off already!!!

OK, I'm being facetious. I'm no scientist but a lot of other people are and they're scared that we may be too late to save the planet for increasing temperatures. I don't need a degree in science to tell me that October is warmer than it used to be.

Check out this news item:

The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issued a report found that the world is rapidly running out of time to scale back carbon emissions to keep planetary warming within 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) above pre-industrial levels. If the flow of greenhouse gases continues to stream into the atmosphere at the current rate, the IPCC determined, the global mean temperature will likely rise to the 1.5-degree mark sometime between 2030 and 2052.

Such a rise in global mean temperatures within that time frame would mean calamitious flooding of small islands and major coastal metropoles like New York City, the report said. Warming beyond that level, to 2 degrees and over, would significantly exacerbate such disasters.

Meanwhile, the big lying moronic Cheeto in charge is still in denial about climate change. He once called climate change a Chinese hoax. With that big layer of fat insulating his head, he probably can't feel the difference.

More stuff from the news to ponder.

Under Trump, the U.S. has rapidly moved to eliminate policies aimed at reducing the nation’s carbon footprint ― even as other top emitters of carbon dioxide like China have taken steps to curb emissions.

Trump last year announced he would withdraw the U.S. from the 2015 landmark Paris climate accord, arguing it unfairly hurt American businesses and workers.

Asked about the IPCC report on Tuesday, Trump expressed skepticism about its source and suggested he had other data that disputed it.

“I want to look at who drew it. You know, which group drew it. I can give you reports that are fabulous and I can give you reports that aren’t so good,” Trump told reporters at the White House.

You fat ass lying fucking sack of shit, any reports that you have that are "fabulous" when it comes to the climate are made up by the coal and oil industries.

All I know is that we're up to October 11th, I'm still wearing short sleeve shirts and still running the AC. Meanwhile, a whole swath of the United States is looking at yet another killer storm.

Science tells us something is wrong with our world.

My senses tell me it's true.
