Yeah, That Sounds About Right.

Isn’t good to know that in a world beset by uncertainty, terror, violence and death, there are things we know we can count on?

 

Like Donald Trump being a total asshole. 

 

OK, maybe that particular bit isn't a “good to know” but….

 

In an old sort of way, hearing that Li’l Donnie tromped through an El Paso hospital bloviating over the crowd size of his El Paso rally from a few months back and mocking Beto O’Rourke was sort of… comforting?

 

If Trump possessed more than one working brain cell and displayed even the barest modicum of human empathy, I might worry and think something is really wrong in the world.

 

But Donald Trump being a thin skinned egotist who is more concerned with his own image than the well being of others? Yeah, that sounds about right.

 

After reading his teleprompter hostage statement earlier this week “urging unity over racism” (to quote the New York Times), Li’l Donnie is back to his old self, babbling and tweeting all sorts angry comments about his enemies and unfounded boasts about himself.

 

After his respective visits to hospitals in Dayton and El Paso, Trump’s campaign released videos promoting these visits.

 

Donald Trump taking an American tragedy and turning it into a story about himself? Yeah, that sounds about right.
