Taking a Memorial Day Break


I'm a bit  behind the 8 ball with blog stuff so it's low content mode today.

Below is a graphic I worked up a couple of years ago for a previous Memorial Day using artwork from Todd McFarlane and the text from John McCrae's poem, "In Flanders' Fields".   



And to remind us what these good people of the military gave their lives for, below is text from the Declaration of Independence with Superman illustrated by Jerry Ordway. 

I assembled this graphic for a 4th of July post a few years ago.
