Guilfoyle graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Davis, and received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1994. While in law school, she interned at the San Francisco district attorney's office where I imagine she did a lot of LEGal work.
After law school, Guilfoyle's LEGal career got its start as a prosecutor in San Francisco.
Guilfoyle then spent four years in Los Angeles as a Deputy District Attorney, lending her LEGal expertise to adult and juvenile cases, including narcotics, domestic violence, kidnapping, robbery, arson, sexual assault and homicide cases. She received several awards at the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, including Prosecutor of the Month in honor of her LEGal work.
Her LEGal career took her back to the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, where she served as an Assistant District Attorney from 2000 to 2004.
In January 2004, Guilfoyle moved to New York to host the program Both Sides on Court TV, as well as to work as a LEGal analyst on Anderson Cooper 360°.
Guilfoyle joined Fox News in February 2006 where she offer LEGal analysis on a number of programs on the network. It was announced on June 29, 2017 that Guilfoyle signed a long-term contract extension with Fox which seemed to cement her standing as a Fox News LEGend.
Meanwhile Guilfoyle's dating eldest Trump son Donald Trump Jr.. Her direct involvement with a member of the Trump campaign and working for a PAC may not be LEGit since PACs and campaigns are not supposed to coordinate activities. I would hope that a person like Kimberly Guilfoyle with a significant background in the law would not do anything ilLEGal.
